One of the inspiring forces that drives me is supporting the health of women and healing the many disharmonies and hurts we can accumulate over the years. Western medicine seems to offer two options that are supposed to be helping us – biopsies and birth control pills. Over the past few months, I have been creating a place where women can go to seek healing and power. I am so proud to announce the opening of a Low-Cost Women’s Clinic in my office.
The Low Cost Women’s Clinic has a focus on issues that are particular to women and pertain to things like menstrual health, sexual health, change of life health, emotional health, digestive health. The difference between the clinic and my private practice is the clinic is acupuncture only. It is perfect for people who are very comforta ble with acupuncture and enjoy a more independent experience of healing.
The way I have designed it, I have been able to keep the cost lower than my private practice by having two rooms going at the same time. I also wanted to keep things affordable so people could create a regular routine with acupuncture and be able to come on a more regular basis in order to prevent disease instead of just waiting for it to become symptomatic.
